Lien Release

Lien Release Preparation and Recording Service provides mortgage and home equity loan servicers with a solution to outsource the preparation, recording and tracking of lien releases, satisfactions and/or re-conveyances (collectively referred to as “release(s)” in this positioning document) within the required regulatory time constraints.

Lien Release Preparation and Recording Service is a customized outsourcing solution that can include any or all of the following processes:

• Prepare the appropriate release document using recording information provided by the servicer
• Provide research services for any or all documents where the servicer does not have the recording information
• Calculate recording fees and remit funds for recording the document
• Mail documents for recording or record electronically where available
• Track the recording of the document to assure it is properly recorded
• Return the recorded document to the servicer or the servicer’s customer after recording
• Provide reports on the status of orders
